A stunning scenic rail journey from Zurich will have the entire Contingent arriving into Kandersteg on the afternoon of Sunday 26th June. Our time in KISC is carefully planned to provide maximum fun, friendship and adventure – as well as giving everyone time to relax and explore as well.
After a rest day on Monday 27th to recover and acclimatise in the village of Kandersteg, our ten-day program will swing into action. Each participant will have their own personalised itinerary that will contain some great activities, plenty of chances to meet new mates from across Australia and the world, and lots of opportunities for fun and adventure.
Our ten day program is structured and will each have (already included in your price paid):
For the nights you are not in a mountain hut, KISC evening activities will be running each night – a great chance to have some fun and socialise with international neighbour. Each Troop will also have a common area and fire-barrel to chill with.
The ten days will feature the best of KISC’s three main themes: High Adventure, Eco Experiences and International Friendship. Throw in the Core Days with activities around the country and iconic cities thrown in as well, and you have an incredible Swiss experience!
KISC’s trained volunteer staff of Scouts from around the world runs most of the activities at the Centre – others are self-guided or run by professional contractors. So while you’re enjoying the scenery, you can also learn about Scouting in another country.
Subject to availability, our program team will be craft your individual itinerary so that you get a diverse experience across the program themes.
